Ty Sears and Porter Allison first met in elementry school at Veritas, where they quickly became close friends through shared interests in sports—especially baseball—and a strong foundation in faith. After going separate ways in middle school, life led them down different paths, and over time they lost touch while focusing on the distractions of everyday life.
During their sophomore year of high school, they reconnected on a spring break trip, marking a turning point in both their friendship and their faith. From that moment on, they grew closer than ever and, by their junior year, both felt called to fully realign their lives with Christ. This renewed purpose began shaping their decisions, values, and future direction.
In October 2025, that calling turned into action. With prayerful consideration, Ty made the decision to pursue a path outside of college, while Porter stepped away from playing softball at Samford. Together, they felt led to build something of their own—something grounded in faith, integrity, and hard work.
P&T Washing LLC was founded on those principles, with Matthew 6:25-43 serving as a cornerstone for how we live and operate: to trust God's provision, not be anxious about tomorrow, and to seek first His kingdom in all that we do.
